The booster Club of Walton Science Olympiad was established in 2022 to help our students do what they do best – Do Science Stuff – while we take care of them and help the club run smoothly.
We are a non-profit organization registered in 2022. The booster club is created solely as an organization described in Section 501(c)(3) and exempt from taxation under section 501(a) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 or corresponding provisions hereinafter in effect.
Since 1994, the Walton Science Olympiad team has been participating in annual competitions, embodying persistence and determination. Our identity is shaped by our unwavering commitment to excel in test events through dedicated study and to create and collaborate enthusiastically in build events. Above all, it is our emphasis on teamwork that brings us together.
At Walton Science Olympiad, our program extends beyond a singular focus on science. We value ingenuity, teamwork, and creativity as fundamental pillars of our team. Building friendships and establishing connections with like-minded individuals who share a passion for science is a rewarding and enduring experience. Moreover, the knowledge you gain through our program has practical applications in your daily life. Walton Science Olympiad transcends the boundaries of pure science. It is the curiosity that ignites our motivation and the motivation that fuels our ingenuity. It is the sense of camaraderie we develop with our peers and teachers. It is the opportunity to collaborate with kindred spirits on topics that ignite our passions while simultaneously deepening our understanding of science.
We are seeking help from the parents in the following areas:
Help our SciOly Coach run the regular activities
Help in organizing Regional Tournaments
Provision regular snacks for the after hour stay
Help in registration for different tournaments
Organize transport, accommodation, food for tournaments happening locally or out-of-state
Organizing concession stands
Organize various fund-raising activities
Help create student awareness to contemporary science discoveries
