The tournament featured a highly competitive field of 29 high schools from across Georgia and beyond, including Chattahoochee High School, which took 1st, and Fulton Science Academy, which finished 2nd. Walton’s strong showing is a testament to the dedication, preparation, and teamwork of our students, who competed across a challenging slate of STEM events covering engineering, life sciences, and problem-solving disciplines.

A huge thank you to our incredible coaches Doug Wolfe, Wes Taylor, and Matt Curtis for their guidance and commitment in leading our students to success. We are also grateful to our volunteers and parents for their continued support in making this season a success.

With this strong finish, Walton continues to build momentum as we head into the next round of competitions. Let’s keep pushing forward—Go Walton SO!

With each competition, our team is building momentum as we set our sights on Regionals and State. Every event, every challenge, and every moment of preparation helps push us closer to our goals. Parents, your support is critical in this journey. Whether through volunteering, helping with logistics, or cheering from the sidelines, your involvement makes a direct impact. If you have not yet signed up to help, now is the time—we need Parent Safety Monitors at practice and volunteers for upcoming tournaments!

This season is moving fast, and we are excited for what lies ahead. Thank you for being part of this incredible community and for everything you do to support Walton Science Olympiad. Let’s keep up the hard work and continue striving for excellence!
